The P.Audio 2LINE-Sub is an actively driven 10 wooden subwoofer enclosure. The 2LINE-Sub is ideal for use in both portable and fixed installation environments where low frequency extension is desired. The amplifier is a class D design, with universal Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS). The amplifier output is 300w to drive the 10 transducer component. The amplifier also has a 300w (4 ohm) output available to drive the 2LINE-6 column loudspeaker or other loudspeaker of choice. The 8 switchable EQ presets found on the amplifier panel of the 2LINE-Sub allow different voicing modes with the 2LINE-6, including 1 preset optimised for use with spoken word. For ease of use, the XLR input on the 2LINE-Sub has switchable sensitivity to allow either line level signals or a microphone to be plugged straight into the system. A THRU XLR output is also present, to allow easy system scalability.

The cabinet construction is of a heavy duty wood, with thick splatter coat of paint for ultimate durability and easy touch up of cosmetics. The transducer component is a ferrite 10woofer with highly linear suspension design to ensure low distortion and high excursion capabilities. Two recessed handles on the side of the cabinet allow easy portability. The highly rigid steel grill ensures the transducer is protected at all times. 4 Rubber feet on the bottom of the enclosure ensure the sub will not move, and the M20 thread speaker pole mount on the top of the enclosure allows easy system set up when used with the 2L-Pole and 2L-PSA accessories, in order to create a well-balanced 2LINE System.
